India's Hero Honda Scooter
From S. Muralidhar of the Hindu Business Line- India and China are the two largest current and future motorcycle markets. The numbers of vehicles sold in either country dwarf those of any other. A big reason for the numbers are the huge populations of both countries and cultures where light-weight motorcycles and scooters are used extensively for commuting and business.
The Hero Honda is the biggest seller of the largest manufacturer in the Indian market- a partnership between Honda and the Hero manufacturing group of India.
