Guidebook: "Motorcycling Across Michigan"
From the Detroit Free Press- William Murphy of East Lansing offers a guidebook for motorcycle touring in Michigan.Motorcycling Across Michigan (Arbutus Press)
The book features 17 rides around the state ranging in length from about 3 hours ("To Hell and Back") to ones taking three days or longer. The longest is the Lake Superior circle tour that goes for 1445 miles. We'd hope the book includes notes on interesting places to stop and visit, places to stay and resources for recovery when the bike breaks down.
For the record, Murphy rides a 1000cc Kawasaki Concours.
