Serious PR Issues at Mid-West Choppers
Galesburg, IL- from Kevin Sampier of the Journal Star-
Mid-West Choppers motorcycle shop of Galesburg filed for bankruptcy recently. Mid-West is a manufacturer of custom choppers in Galesburg. Owner Chip Miyler had been taking orders for bikes and collecting deposits on motorcycles priced from $25,000 to $50,000.
While the shop is under investigation by local authorities and the FBI, no charges have been filed. 26 complaints from customers total $840,000.
